Board approves major mall extension, denies garage variance

NJ CHERRY HILL — Zoning board extends major retail filing deadline in brief session. The Zoning Board of Adjustment, presided over by Chairperson Nacovin Norman, approved a second extension for PREIT Services, LLC's Dick's House of Sports project at Cherry Hill Mall, extending the filing deadline to April 6, 2026. The board also approved bulk variance relief for a 1,531-square-foot residential addition at 427 State Street for Andrew Mohabir and Elizabeth Boehmke, and denied SR Builder, LLC's request for retroactive approval of a 400-square-foot detached garage at 322 Monroe Avenue.

The board memorialized the three resolutions in an eight-minute meeting.
