NJ CHERRY HILL — Zoning Board OKs pool variances and two Route 70 development extensions. The board unanimously approved bulk variances for Jessica Azad and Jonathan Appel to build a 29-foot by 15-foot in-ground pool with 6-foot fencing at 22 Partridge Lane, requiring screening plantings and drywall installation to manage drainage. Separately, KM Hotels, LLC received a one-year extension through May 19, 2027 for its two-hotel and retail pad project, while Route 70 West, LLC gained extension through June 17, 2027 for its car wash redevelopment and coffee shop; both extensions stemmed from delays in obtaining New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Transportation approvals.
The board also memorialized resolution 25-Z-0028 permitting Schaeffer Family Trust to construct a model home on Haddonfield Berlin Road with lot line adjustment.
