NJ CHERRY HILL — Planning Board approves shopping center sign variance after Res Judicata ruling. The board voted 6-1 to determine that sufficient changes existed in Gator Sawmill, LLC's application compared to a previously denied 2003 proposal, allowing the application to move forward. In the final variance vote, the board voted 5-2 to approve replacement of the existing Sawmill shopping center sign with a four-panel multi-tenant monument sign, with members Ed Rentezelas, Earle Seneres, Jill Hulnick, Sam Kates, and Christopher Callan voting in favor, and members Marlyn Kalitan and Alise Panitch opposed.
The board also denied a residential subdivision application by James Foley and unanimously extended site plan approvals for Subaru of America, Inc. to August 8, 2027.
