Planning Board reorganizes, appoints Sam Kates as new chair

NJ CHERRY HILL — Cherry Hill Planning Board reorganizes with Sam Kates elected as new chair for 2026. The board unanimously elected Kates as Chair and Sheila Griffith as Vice-Chair during the annual reorganization meeting. Professional appointments made unanimously included Jacob Richman, PP, AICP as Secretary; Kathleen Cullen as Alternate Secretary Number 1; Board Planners Jacob Richman, PP, AICP and Mara Wuebker, PP, AICP; and service-provider firms for legal and engineering services.

The board memorialized Resolution 25-P-0026, approving a minor site plan with variances for South Jersey Management, LLC to convert a former 2,300-square-foot drive-thru bank building at 1460 Route 70 East into a 2,100-square-foot Dunkin drive-thru coffee shop.
